We're Opening a CineStill Film Vending Machine at the LINE Hotel in Los Angeles!
Posted by Arvin Santiago on
CineStill is collaborating with the LINE Hotel to bring a film vending machine to the film community in Los Angeles. The vending machine is part of The Darkroom pop-up experience by GOBI that will be available at The LINE Hotel from February 24th to April 28th.
Located in the historic Koreatown neighborhood of Los Angeles, this vending machine at the LINE LA gives photographers 24/7 access to their favorite CineStill films. You don't need to stay at the hotel to access the vending machine. Anyone can walk right into the hotel lobby and purchase any film they might need, serving as another resource for photographers to be able to buy film when their favorite film store and/or lab are closed. The 24/7 film vending machine will also carry other analog products such as Super8 film, disposable cameras, and CineStill merchandise.
The Darkroom by GOBI kicks off Friday, February 24th with a party at the LINE LA. Everyone is welcome. To RSVP, visit here.
The Darkroom by GOBI is a pop-up experience housed inside the LINE LA. With two vending machines and photographic prints by LA-based artists Jackie Castillo, Emanuel Hahn, and Camille Ji, The Darkroom is a communal site that facilitates the sharing of perspectives, resources, and culture. Each of these artists captures Los Angeles from a different perspective and provides insights that expand the typical image of the city. We invite you to find inspiration from prints, books, zines, and objects curated by GOBI and to go out and create your own photographs using disposable cameras and films that can be purchased from the CineStill vending machine.
The Darkroom is located in the lobby and open 24/7.
If the vending machine is sold out of your favorite film, you can order here with fast shipping!
