Product Details
ADOX was founded in 1860 as the world's first photochemical factory. Over the next several decades, it became one of the leading film producers in Europe. Today, ADOX films, papers, and chemistry are proudly manufactured in Germany by an incredibly passionate team of film photography enthusiasts.
ADOX Adotech IV is a special B+W film developer designed specifically for processing ADOX CMS 20 II ISO 200 ultra high definition B&W film. Compared to Adotech III, Adotech IV yields improved tonal separation, shadow detail, and grey-scale reproduction in the highlights. Developed with the new Adotech IV, Adox CMS 20 II now shows about the same curve as a normal B/W film. The new developer has significantly improved stability to prevent streaky development in larger homogeneous grey areas.
All CMS 20 II films that have been delivered to customers since 2011 can be processed with both the Adotech III and Adotech IV developer. Please be aware of times and diluting properties on each bottle. With a recommended dilution of 1+14 you will get 1500 ml of working solution. This is enough to process up to 6 rolls of Adox CMS 20 II film.
Adotech IV developer has enhanced longevity and can be treated like any other film developer, making the prior hassle of filling up the bottle with water after every partial withdrawal unnecessary.
