Euro Exchange Rate Summer Update
After a year of incredible flux in international exchange rates, the Euro seems to have settled at a more stable exchange rate with the USD. Since the Spring, CineStill has been taking the brunt of the exchange disparity, to help ease the burden for photographers who live with the Euro currency. Unfortunately, due to rising costs of film and materials, we cannot continue to maintain an artificially low price on our film in Europe.
Starting this month, CineStill films will resume an expected retail price of $9.99 USD per roll or equivalent throughout the world. For the next few weeks CinesStill film may still be found in Europe at a reduced price, but as soon as current retail stock is depleted, those within the EU should expect a small price adjustment at their local camera shops.
We genuinely thank you all for your support and hope that this price adjustment will not deter you from shooting with the most advanced MP film technology in the world, which was once only available to Cinematographers! We are currently working on several new and exciting things, while still working towards a solution to bring CineStill into more formats. (Expect an update on that later in 2015!) In the meantime, know that every dollar spent on CineStill film is fueling the Analog Renaissance and continued growth in quality options for analog photographers!
If you have any questions or would like to share any of your CineStill images with us, we would love to hear from you! Feel free to contact us through our web site. You and your photography are the reason we do everything!
Long live film!
